The very minute I first walked through the front door I knew we had come upon a most beautiful & relaxing place. Thank you for your hospitality, helpfulness & great information. We found the gite most comfortable and found no difficulty in making it our home for the week. Simon our three year old, in spite of being unwell for a few days, had a great time exploring your beautiful garden and playing with all the toys both inside and out. This is a great base for exploring the many beautiful local places, and even if we had never gone anywhere, it was just heaven to spend time around here. The cool evenings in particular were lovely for sitting outside with the vin rouge & simply listening to the birds and crickets and enjoying the delicious perfume of the honeysuckle (chevrefeuille) wafting past us. The gite had everything we could possibly need and we knew that should we need anything else, it was only a matter of calling on either Teresa or Ian. The beds and linen were very comfortable, something which can sometimes be hard to find. I imagine no matter what time of year one might stay here - summer or winter, a wonderful time would be had. So thanks once more to you both, we most definitely will be back. It was the first thing we both said the minute we got here.
