Welcome to Le Camélia (availability), beautiful Loire Atlantique accommodation.   This is the last jewel in our crown, once an atelier for cider making – your perfect holiday home now.  Completely renovated but with many original features left in place like oak beams, exposed stone walls and not a regular right angle to be seen. This building is truly unique in shape (a challenging renovation job) and ambiance and we are sure  you will be as charmed by its quirkiness as all our guest’s have been.

Enter by the porch made from the salvaged timbers of the cider press into the lovely light spacious open plan living area. It is tiled throughout the ground floor, with windows onto the garden and also onto the fields at the front of the property.  The living area has a large comfy 3 seater sofa and a equally comfy sofa-bed, an armchair, rug, coffee table, TV with Sky free to view programmes, DVD player, high speed internet access (not wifi) music centre (radio, CD and tape player), large DVD film library, 2 lamps, large sideboard,  books, indoor games  and a massive woodburner.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with an electric cooker (4 solid rings), oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, large fridge with separate freezer compartment, washing machine, pots and frying pans, cutlery and dinner service for 8 place settings, mugs, teapot, cafétiere, electric coffee maker & filters, utensils, tray, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, ironing board and iron, broom, mop and dustpan & brush. The table and chairs can seat 8 and it all adds up to a home away from home.

There is also a shower room with basin and WC on this floor as well as a handy broom cupboard.

Upstairs on the landing there is a large window overlooking the garden with a safety rail.  Off the landing you enter a spacious double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and exposed old oak beams and stone walls.  Fitted with a standard double bed and firm mattress, 2 bedside tables with lamps, large rug, chest of drawers with vanity top, a wardrobe with hangers and shelves, and a rattan chair.    A hairdryer, UK plug adaptor, a fan and an oil filled electric radiator are also provided.   There is plenty of space here for a cot or a folding bed.

The twin room is further along and contains two standard single beds with firm mattresses, each with bedside tables and lights, a chest of drawers and an ornamental clothes rail with shelves.  A fan and an oil filled electric radiator are also provided.

At the end of the corridor there is another independant shower room with basin, heater and WC.
